摘要: Celiac disease (CD) has a wide range of clinical presentations and is being diagnosed with increasing frequency in patients the 4th 5th decades life. The diagnosis CD confirmed by combination clinical, serological, morphological findings associated response to gluten-free diet. In small-bowel mucosal biopsy specimens, abnormalities from minimal (increased villous intraepithelial lymphocytes only) severe (complete blunting crypt hyperplasia). Recognition important because appropriate therapy this condition will obviate risk its complications.
