摘要: Bovine leukemia virus (BLV) is the etiological agent of enzootic bovine leukosis, which most common neoplastic disease cattle. BLV infects cattle worldwide, imposing a severe economic impact on dairy industry. However, there are no comprehensive studies distribution in Philippines, and genetic characteristics Philippine strains unknown. Therefore, aim this study was to detect infections Philippines determined their variability. Blood samples were obtained from 1116 different farms five islands, provirus detected by BLV-CoCoMo-qPCR-2 nested PCR targeting long terminal repeats. Out samples, 108 (9.7 %) 54 (4.8 %) positive for provirus, as PCR, respectively. Of Luzon Island showed highest prevalence infection (23.1 %). Partial env gp51 genes 43 both methods, sequenced phylogenetic analysis. Phylogenetic analysis based 423-bp fragment gene revealed that clustered into either genotype 1 or 6. Substitutions mainly found antigenic determinants, such CD4+ T-cell epitope, CD8+ second neutralizing domain, B E epitopes, these substitutions varied according genotype. This provides information regarding levels documents presence two genotypes, genotypes 6, population.
