摘要: High-grade gliomas are relatively frequent in adults and consist the most malignant form of primary brain tumor. They resistant to standard treatment modalities such as surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, being fatal within 1 2 years onset symptoms. Owing promising practical clinical benefits that can be expected for near future, an exposition basic issues genetic therapy seems timely. In this article we intend provide a general review covers important genes already studied possible agents gliomas. critical analysis expose discuss anti-tumoral mechanisms therapeutical results studies with following class genes: prodrug activation systems, apoptosis-related genes, anti-angiogenic factors radiosensitization chemosensitization immunogenes. Finally historical importance, actual role further developments from each these future
