摘要: American leishmaniasis has received scant attention in the literature of United States, most reports having originated from South America, particularly Brazil. While up to 1943 approximately 30 cases cutaneous (oriental sore) had been reported States and Canada (1), none which (with 1 possible exception 1c ) were autochthonous, only 3 American, or mucocutaneous, recorded as occurring was presumably autochthonous.
