Evaluation of blood pressure in feline night monkeys (Aotus azarae infulatus) under different restraint protocols

摘要: Background Feline night monkeys are very susceptible to stress when handled, and because of that, the use anesthetic physical restraint methods should be carefully evaluated. To ensure a safer anesthesia animals present study aimed observe influence four protocols in blood pressure Aotus azarae infulatus. Methods Blood was obtained from 10 subjected restraining using tiletamine zolazepam, isoflurane, ketamine midazolam, results were evaluated determine their effect on this exam. Results Among tested, isoflurane promoted lower values no differences observed between measured both arms all groups. Conclusion The our suggest that tested significantly alter species primates.
