摘要: Microwave limb sounding is a well-suited technique for the observation of composition and temperature middle atmosphere. The Shuttle-borne millimeter-wave atmospheric sounder (MAS) measures three oxygen lines in 61–64 GHz region. Since uniformly mixed lower atmosphere, amplitude shape emission depend only on pressure. From these lines, vertical profiles are retrieved with resolution 5km altitude region 15–45 km (127–1.5 hPa). estimated total error 1.5 K at altitudes 25–35 (24.5–5.7 hPa) up to 5 above below this Simultaneously profile, certain instrument parameters retrieved. We present first MAS retrieval results taken different locations from measurements March 31, 1992, during ATLAS 1 mission. basically good agreement National Center Environmental Prediction (NCEP) analysis data, but retrievals have tendency low temperatures stratosphere.
