摘要: Abstract In little more than a decade since their first reported use and methodological discovery, human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) have provided exceptional new progress opportunities for understanding psychiatric disease from an individualized perspective. this chapter, we discuss the application of iPSCs to personalized psychiatry, beginning with overview iPSC technology methods, challenges in medicine, including therapeutics development, prediction drug response, potential identification individually unique mechanisms or genetics. Next, review how technologies thus far been used model better understand diseases, focus on bipolar disorder, depression major depressive schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorder. Finally, finish by addressing what consider be key needs maximizing impact research psychiatry.
