摘要: The authors examined the ability of younger and older adults to search for targets defined by single features (feature search), conjunctions 2 (conjunction 3 (triple-conjunction search). Feature was relatively age-invariant, with both displaying shallow slopes. However, did show reduced rates many conjunction targets. Interestingly, benefited equivalently when an extra feature available define target. That is, relative amount improvement in performance similar triple-conjunction compared search. These results are discussed terms age-related differences effectiveness bottom-up top-down mechanisms that support visual
