摘要: [1] Salt marshes are often dissected by a network of channels formed tidal oscillations and related water fluxes. In this note we present stochastic model able to simulate the formation evolution networks in salt marshes. The is based on simplification shallow equations that enables determination surface gradients marsh platform bottom shear stresses. governing then solved with random walk algorithm an enclosed domain representing its physical boundaries. Model results show how development depends forcing, critical stress for erosion, as well local heterogeneities vegetation sediment substrate.
