Sleep-related breathing disorders in small children with nocturnal acid gastro-oesophageal reflux.

摘要: Purpose: Coincidence of gastroesophageal reflux disease with obstructive sleep apnea / hypopnea syndrome has been discussed in recent years. Treatment nasal continuous positive airway pressure (nCPAP) reduces (GER) adult patients (OSA). Moreover, treatment omeprazole can reduce the severity selected individuals. The aim study was to test hypothesis that does not influence quality and breathing pattern during children. Material methods: 24 children (14 boys, 10 girls, aged 2 months - 3 years) disturbances indicating GER were studied. Standard polysomnography parallel recording 24-h oesophageal monitoring performed. Apnea index (AHI) active/REM quiet NREM compared between nocturnal acid (13 children; 7 6 girls; 1.28 ± 0.95y; FRT-18.63 11.83%) GER- free controls (11 4 1.64 0.97y; FRT- 2.93 2.08%). Exclusion criteria were: 1. laboratory signs infection ( OB, CRP, 2-globulin); 2. clinical symptoms respiratory tract, alimentary tract or urinary tract. Results: In higher incidence apnea/hypopnea REM found: AHI = 23.35/h 19.1; (CI 95%11.81-34.89) vs 4.99/h 3.12 without GER. We found no differences groups saturation < 90% time sleep. Conclusions: confirms coincidence sleep-related disorders Higher number reflux.
