摘要: Objectives: The primary objective of this systematic review is assessing whether treatment gastroesophageal disease (GERD) may reduce the apnea and hypopnea index (HAI) secondary there a correlation between HAI acid reflux. Methods: Using clinical studies that investigated relationship obstructive sleep GERD. search included all cited publications up to April 22, 2012, using keywords “sleep apnea, obstructive” AND “gastroesophageal reflux/diagnosis” OR reflux/drug therapy” reflux/therapy” “randomized controlled trial”. following electronic databases were used: PubMed, EMBASE, LILACS, MedLine, SCISEARCH, WEB Science, CINAHL, BIREMI, SCOPUS, database trials COCHANE collaboration. total sample size was 60 patients (55% males). All in eligible submitted both polysomnography esophageal pH measurements before after treatment. Results: Initially, 24 articles selected. Of these, only three met criteria for study 3 found analysis “before after” trials. Through grouping our review, we statistically significant decline average time GERD treatment, trend reduction rate HAI. Conclusion: examined demonstrate medical hypopnea. Nevertheless, more are needed confirm benefits drug therapy context apnea.
