摘要: Introduction: Muscle morphology and architecture changes in response to 6 weeks of progressive resistance train- ing were examined healthy older adults. Methods: In this randomized, controlled design, muscle strength, quality, evaluated with knee extension, DEXA, ultrasound, respectively, 25 Results: Resistance training resulted significant increases strength quality 32% 31%, respectively. Cross-sectional area the vastus lateralis increased by 7.4% (p 0.05). Physiological cross-sectional (PCSA) thigh, a composite measure architecture, was related significantly (r 50.57; p 0.01) demonstrated interaction after Change PCSA associated change independent any other measure. Conclusions: Six effective at increasing adult men women. Nerve 49:584-592, 2014
