摘要: Aim: The aim of this study was to compare the characteristics older and younger patients with suspected paracetamol toxicity. Methods: A retrospective audit medical records (≥65 years, n= 25) (20–30 50) a detectable level at Sydney hospital. Results: Older showed different clinical pattern toxicity were more likely than have multifactorial elevation liver function tests. Additionally, age be associated chronic therapeutic dosing (71% older, 6% younger, P < 0.001), or accidental toxic exposure (90% 29% while deliberate high-dose (10% 71% 0.001).
