摘要: A chip-scale optical approach to performing multi-target detection is based on molecular biosensing using fiber-optic fluorescence or light scattering in liquid-core waveguides. Multiplexing methods are capable of registering individual nucleic acids and other optically responsive particles, ideal for amplification-free combination with the single molecule sensitivity optofluidic chips. This overcomes a critical barrier introducing new integrated technology diagnostic detection. Specific examples waveguides multi-mode interferometers described; however, they can be implemented number different ways as long series excitation spots created whose spacing varies wavelength.
