摘要: Background We have previously reported the feasibility and safety of peroral transgastric endoscopic approach for diagnostic peritoneoscopy, liver biopsy, gastrojejunostomy with long-term survival in a porcine model. This eliminates incisions abdominal wall, providing less invasive alternative to therapeutic laparoscopy. now report successful performance ligation Fallopian tubes Methods Six female 50-kg pigs had general anesthesia irrigation stomach an antibiotic solution. Gastric puncture was performed needleknife electrocautery followed by balloon dilatation tract 20-mm TTS dilating (Microvasive). A standard upper endoscope that underwent high-level disinfection gas sterilzation advanced into peritoneal cavity through sterile overtube. Both were identified one ligated using Olympus Endoloops. The other patent tube served as control. Tubal patency evaluated hysterosalpingogram before after ligation. After follow-up period 2-3 weeks, sacrificed postmortem examination. Results easily accessed, all 6 pigs. In each pig, fluoroscopy confirmed complete obstruction preserved tube. All survived well ate heartily without any ill-effects. Postmortem examination did not reveal peritonitis or intra-abdominal adhesions. Endoloops place controls. Histopathologic showed chronic inflammatory infiltrates abscesses. Conclusions is technically feasible safe has potential wide array procedures.
