摘要: Plasmonics has drawn significant attention in the area of biosensors for decades due to unique optical properties plasmonic resonant nanostructures. While sensitivity and specificity molecular detection relies significantly on resonance conditions, been dedicated design, fabrication, optimization substrates. The adequate choice materials, structures, functionality goes hand with a fundamental understanding plasmonics enable development practical that can be deployed real life situations. Here we provide brief review detailing most recent developments applications. Besides metals, novel materials such as graphene are highlighted. Sensors based Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), Localized (LSPR), Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) presented classified their structure. In addition, applications environment monitoring, health diagnosis, food safety presented. Potential problems related implementation discussed an outlook is
