General pharmacological studies of fusarenon-X, a trichothecene mycotoxin from Fusarium species

摘要: Abstract Fusarenon-X (F-X) is one of the trichothecene mycotoxins. In present work, pharmacological properties F-X were examined. (1) induced hypothermia but did not produce appreciable behavioral changes mice. (2) anesthetized rats, caused a rise in blood pressure and decrease respiratory rate no significant change heart rate. (3) isolated tissues such as fundus muscle, vas deferens, tracheal ileum, atrium, had detectable effects on spontaneous activity responsiveness to agonists. (4) Subplantar administration into rat hindpaw edema. little influence histamine release from mast cells membrane stability erythrocytes. (5) decreased peristalsis intestine increased intestinal propulsion charcoal meal. (6) vomiting dogs which was suppressed by preliminary chlorpromazine metoclopramide. may induce stimulating chemoreceptor trigger zone dogs.
