摘要: Summary The aim of the study was to investigate associations between combined defensin genotypes (CDGs) and somatic cell count (SCC) in Jersey cows. The included a herd 184 dairy cows from Wielkopolska region Poland. Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis with TaqI restrictase established existence 12 CDGs frequency over 1%. most frequent were A1A2B1B2C1C2 A1A2B1B2C1- 56.9783% 12.5% respectively. also confirmed statistically significant association SCC year study, season, lactation stage cow. highest (transformed into logarithmic scale) found milk A1-B1-C1C2 genotype, whereas lowest one A2-B1B2C1C2 genotype. Another project CDG production traits, such as daily yield fat protein content. be factor affecting non-significant for observed A1A2B1B2C2- -A2-B1B2C1-, characteristic -A2-B1-C1C2 A1A2B1-C1- animals. Fat content related genotype opposite way; values recorded animals -A2-B1B2C1- – Similar results -A2-B1-C1C2, confirm hypothesis using an marker. However, further studies should conducted these before can used marker mass selection
