摘要: Obeliscoides cuniculi is a New World nematode parasite of the Trichostrongilidae family infecting gastric tract different domestic and wild Lagomorph species. This reported for first time from European brown hare (Lepus europaeus). The nematodes isolated gastro-intestinal were identified using primary characteristics used to differentiate species this genus as adults morphology (length thickness) other spicules, cervical papillae, cuticular ridges striations. In Italian study area, lives in sympatry with eastern cottontail (Sylvilagus floridanus), which was previously isolated; therefore, possibility cross-infestation must be considered.
