Evaluation of the Hydatid Cyst Membrane Permeability of Albendazole and Albendazole Sulfoxide-Loaded Solid Lipid Nanoparticles

摘要: Background: Albendazole (ABZ) and albendazole sulfoxide (ABZSO) have a basic role in the treatment of hydatid cysts. However, their poor solubility limited intestinal permeability are main problems formulation. Objectives: The preparation characterization ABZ ABZSO-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) to increase cyst membrane permeation by loading into SLNs. Materials Methods: First, SLNs were prepared micro emulsification high shear homogenization. Physicochemical formulations for particle size, polydispersity index, drug entrapment efficiency (EE) (DL), zeta potential, shape, stability, vitro release studies evaluated. Next, conventional on cysts was evaluated quantifying concentrations fluid using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Results: showed sizes < 180 nm, index values around 0.08 with narrow size distributions, EE (91%) ABZ-SLN (94%) ABZSO-SLN, ideal stabilities regard largely negative potentials. free drugs exhibited very fast initial time, but displayed biphasic pattern drug-loaded Greater achieved SLN preparations. Conclusions: ABZSO good physicochemical characterizations, controlled release, higher efficacy SLNs, promising this disease.
