摘要: Surgery is still the main treatment in hydatidosis caused by Echinococcus, which a global health problem human and animals. So, there need for some natural protoscolicidal agents instillation to prevent their reoccurrence at therapeutic doses. In this present investigation, anticestodal activity of one endophytic fungi Pestalotiopsis sp. from Neem plant was observed on protoscoleces hydatid cysts Echinococcus granulosus. Viability confirmed 0.1% aqueous eosin red stain method, where mortality different concentrations with respect time. An average fungal strains, that is, Nigrospora (479 ± 2.9), Colletotrichum (469 25.8), Fusarium (355 14.5), Chaetomium (332 28.3) showing 64 70% activity, except (581 15.0), showed promising scolicidal up 97% just within 30 min incubation. These species significant reduction viability protoscoleces. This first report We conclude ultrastructural changes were due extract suggesting may be bioactive compounds have selective action tegument layer As compared standard drug used, shows activity.
