摘要: TeO2-core/ZnO-shell nanorods were synthesized by a two–step process comprising thermal evaporation of Te powders and atomic layer deposition ZnO. Scanning electron microscopy images exhibit that the core-shell are 50 - 150 nm in diameter up to few tens micrometers length, respectively. Transmission X-ray diffraction analysis revealed cores shells polycrystalline simple tetragonal TeO2 amorphous ZnO with nanocrystallites locally, Photoluminescence measurement had weak broad violet band at approximately 430 nm. The emission was shifted yellowish green region (∼540 nm) encapsulation thin film from enhanced significantly intensity increasing shell thickness. highest obtained for 125 ALD cycles (ZnO coating thickness: ∼15 its much higher than uncapsulated nanorods. origin enhancement is discussed detail.
