摘要: A novel sol-gel processing route has been developed for the production of tellurium oxide (TeO2) and suboxide (TeOx) thin films. The process used to deposit films on glass substrates by dip coating process. These have shown undergo thermally induced, reversible changes in optical properties heating at appropriate temperatures. Formation TeOx was found occur low temperatures direct breakdown derived material even absence reducing agents whilst principal effects corresponded formation α-TeO2 <200°C <450°C respectively. relatively required induce significant are comparable with conventionally prepared offer potential application these materials data storage systems.
