Ultrasonographically detected gallbladder polyps: A reason for concern? A seven-year follow-up study

摘要: The management of coincidental detected gallbladder polyps (GP) is still nebulous. There are few published data regarding their long-term growth. Objective the present study was to investigate prevalence and growth in a survey unselected subjects from general population complete rural community. A total 2,415 (1,261 women; 1,154 men) underwent ultrasound examination gallbladder, November 1996 as part prospective study. Subjects whom GP were at initial follow-up examinations after 30 84 months. At 34 (1.4%; females: 1.1%, range 14 74 years; males: 1.7%, 19 63 years).
