摘要: Purpose To determine the benefit of radiation therapy (RT) in resolution neurologic symptoms and deficits whether type RT fields influences central nervous system (CNS) control adults with CNS leukemia. Methods Materials A total 163 from 1996 to 2012 were retrospectively analyzed. Potential associations between use outcome investigated by univariate multivariate analysis. Results The median survival time was 3.8 months after RT. Common presenting headache 79 patients (49%), cranial nerve VII deficit 46 (28%), II 44 (27%). delivered base skull 48 (29%), whole brain (WB) 67 (41%), craniospinal axis (CS) (29%). Among 149 a 233 deficits, observed 34 (15%), improvement 126 (54%), stability progression 39 (17%). 12-month progression-free 77% among those receiving CS/WB 51% ( P =.02). On analysis, who did not undergo stem cell transplantation associated worse survival. Conclusions Improvement or occurred two thirds Comprehensive WB CS seems offer better outcome, especially isolated involvement.
