Intake of soy foods and soy isoflavones by rural adult women in China.

摘要: This study evaluated the intake of soy foods and isoflavones by rural adult women potential determinant factors. Soy food consumption information on age, education medical history were collected 1,188 subjects in Gansu Province Hebei Province, China using a frequency questionnaire to gather data over past year. Weight height simultaneously measured. The results showed that 1139 (95.9%) consumed average was 38.7 +/- 58.2 (median = 23.5) g/d 17.7 26.6 (median= 8.9) mg/d, respectively. Tofu accounted for most contribution their intake. isoflavone ranged between 0-35 mg/day 89.2% subjects. had higher intakes than Henbei (P< 0.05). Women aged 41-50 years less 20-30-year olds 31-40 year olds(P < 0.01) who experienced secondary or above significantly illiterate women. without with history, but difference not statistically significant. These suggest Chinese much Western countries. distribution skewed right varied among regard region, age group level.
