摘要: We present a patient with hepatitis C and D hepatocellular carcinoma who underwent preoperative evaluation for orthotopic liver transplantation. In his past medical history, he reported life-threatening event during tonsillectomy in 1975. Intubation was impossible due to extreme jaw muscle tension, followed by excessive elevation body temperature, tachycardia, coma few days. evaluated him malignant hyperthermia, according the European Malignant Hyperthermia Group Protocol, found highly positive both halothane caffeine test, respectively. Three months later, we performed an During retransplantation 4 years ischemic-type biliary lesions, suffered massive intraoperative bleeding. Blood products, as well coagulation factors aprotinin, were tolerated. Anesthesia trigger-free total intravenous technique without dantrolene prophylaxis, but readily available sufficient quantities operating room. The did not encounter hyperthermia crisis either perioperative period.
