摘要: Insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) is the factor which binds to its specific binding proteins in plasma and mediates most of actions hormone (GH). In terms this, measurement IGF-I concentrations considered be important diagnosis treatment abnormalities. present report we describe a modified immunoenzymometric assay (IEMA) for using monoclonal antibody peroxidase conjugated polyclonal antibody, was originally developed by Tamura et al. The minimum detection level 3ng/ml good linearity obtained at range 3-50ng/ml. recovery added nearly quantitative, cross reaction with human IGF-II less than 1%. There significant positive correlation between values determined IEMA RIA. We measured levels this normal subjects children short stature. Serum or samples were extracted acid-ethanol method. observed age-dependently. gradually increased reached peak (101.2-473.2ng/ml) pubertal period thereafter decreased adult (67.3-329.6ng/ml). stature older 5 yrs, percentages falling below mean chronological age least 2SD 100% complete GH deficiency (n = 5), 80.0% partial 15), 25.0% neurosecretory dysfunction 4), 40.0% non-endocrine 60) Turner syndrome 4). younger 4 it may difficult use because there an overlap children. shown reliable method blood appropriate disorders yrs.
