摘要: The revolution of epigenetics has revitalized cancer research, shifting focus away from somatic mutation toward a more holistic perspective involving the dynamic states chromatin. Disruption chromatin organization can directly and indirectly precipitate genomic instability transformation. One group epigenetic mediators, Polycomb (PcG) proteins, establishes heritable gene repression through methylation histone tails. Although classically considered regulators development cellular differentiation, PcG proteins engage in variety neoplastic processes, including proliferation invasion. Due to their multifaceted potential, rest at intersection transcriptional memory malignancy. Expression levels hold enormous diagnostic prognostic value breast, prostate, recently, gastrointestinal cancers. In this review, we briefly summarize function report latest developments understanding role pancreatic cancer.
