摘要: Nas ultimas decadas os habitos alimentares da populacao mundial vem sendo afetados por um conjunto de preocupacoes relacionadas a saude, obesidade e meio ambiente bem como variaveis sociais aumento longevidade, maior participacao mulher no mercado trabalho numero pessoas que vivem sozinhas. Esses fatores afetam demanda alimentos, com reflexos sobre o comercio internacional. O objetivo deste confrontar desempenho das exportacoes brasileiras produtos agricolas as tendencias modelo adotado permitiu concluir parte do valor refere-se cuja esta em declinio. Produtos mostrando tendencia expansao mantiveram pequena expressao nas brasileiras, resultando perda competitividade.Abstract During the last two decades human diet has became affected for group of concerns related to health, obesity and environment well social variables longevity increase, woman's larger participation in job market number people that live alone. Those factors affect food demand with reflexes on international trade. This paper analyzes implications these tendencies trade from 1980 1998. The model confronts Brazilian agricultural exports it allowed conclude most value refers products whose world declines. Products had increased maintained small expression exports, resulting loss competitiveness.Key words: International Agricultural exports. Food
