摘要: An extensive stem-loop structure was found in the A gamma-globin promoter region. Intron transcripts from epsilon-globin, gamma-globin, delta-globin, and beta-globin were complementary to loop sequence. model for globin-switching based upon changes DNA secondary intron transcript pairing proposed. Pairing of epsilon with anti-sense strand postulated result up-regulation whereas sense down-regulation. The is consistent known hemoglobin disorders can be extended account any series genes that are turned on off as development proceeds.
