摘要: Thirty consecutive surgical patients with glioblastoma, were operated upon using fluorescence induced by 5-aminolevulinic acid as guidance. The fluorescent quality of the tissue was used to take biopsies from tumor center, invasive area around it and adjacent normal-looking tissue. These samples analyzed HE, Ki-67 nestin. Nestin expression in surrounding glioblastoma cases compared vascular lesions, metastasis hippocampal sclerosis. rate gross total resection assessed volumetric MRI 83%. Using HE examination gold standard, identified solid 100% positive predictive value, areas 97%, normal 67% negative value. Ki67 stained some cells 69% non-fluorescent tumor. There always strong nestin but similar control non-glioma lesions subacute expansion. guidance is very reliable can help study tumor-brain interface. constant tumor, mostly an acute glial reaction, not specific neoplasm. staining recommended a stem cell marker.
