摘要: Many different types of serine proteinase inhibitors have been involved in several kinds plant physiological processes, including defense mechanisms against phytopathogens. Kazal-type inhibitors, which are included the inhibitor family, present organisms. These proteins play a regulatory role processes that involve proteinases like trypsin, chymotrypsin, thrombin, elastase and/or subtilisin. In work, we characterized two putative from Arabidopsis thaliana, single domain. The expression these is transiently induced response to leaf infection by Botrytis cinerea, suggesting they some pathogens. We also evaluated inhibitory specificity one resulted be during local B. cinerea infection. recombinant displayed high for and subtilisin, but low differences its selectivity. addition, this exhibited strong antifungal activity inhibiting germination rate conidia in vitro. Due important protection pathogens pests, information about described work could contribute improving current methods
