摘要: This study assessed the standard urinalysis technique and sediment stain techniques as predictors of bacterial culture results for canine feline urine. Canine (n = 111) 79) urine samples were evaluated using unstained wet-mount air-dried Gram Wright-Giemsa stained sediment; compared to aerobic culture. Eleven 7 positive. Unstained had sensitivities 89% 83% specificities 91% 99%, respectively. The specificity either was higher (P < 0.01) than examination detecting bacteriuria. There significant differences among 3 technologists in true positives 0.01). Association used 112 81 samples. a negative association between lipid detection identification bacteria.
