摘要: The aim of this study was to verify the usefulness Alzheimer Disease Assessment Scale-cognitive subscale (ADAS-Cog), in screening participants at risk developing disease (AD) among populations with amnestic mild cognitive impairment(aMCI). 98 outpatients aMCI were recruited. Participants revaluated after 1 year: 44 (44.9%) progressed AD (progressors), while 54 (55.1%) did not convert (nonprogressors MCI). At baseline, performances more impaired progressors assessed by MMSE and a neuropsychological battery. When tested ADAS-Cog subscale, 2 groups progressors, nonprogressors MCI, significantly different regarding total score, memory, nonmemory subitems. Considering cutoff 9.5 adjusted for education, showed good performance (area under curve = 0.67; sensitivity 0.62%; specificity 0.73%) predicting conversion from AD. Progressors characterized baseline greater impairment. is useful brief assessment tool screen converting within year.
