摘要: Reduced ovarian hormone levels associated with menopause or ovariectomy (OVX) not only result in vascular dysfunction but also lead to structural abnormalities capillaries. Therefore, the effect of OVX on three-dimensional (3-D) architecture capillary networks and underlying molecular mechanisms were investigated rat soleus muscle. Seven-week-old female Wistar rats divided into sham-treated (Sham) groups. The group exhibited lower endurance exercise capacity compared sham resulted decreased diameter, number anastomoses capillary/anastomosis volume muscle, indicating 3-D networks. Furthermore, led increased concentrations thrombospondin-1 (TSP-1) protein a VEGF-A/TSP-1 ratio, an indicator angio-adaptations, muscle Sham group. These results indicate may induce regression through imbalance between VEGF-A TSP-1 expression, possibly tolerance ovariectomized rats.
