摘要: A single Al 59.3 Li 29.3 Cu 11.4 icosahedral quasicrystal is prepared with the Bridgman method. To study electronic structure of this phase, high resolution Compton profiles along axes five- and two-fold symmetries phase have been measured 60-keV synchrotron radiation X-rays. The Fermi cutoffs are observed clearly in profiles. Anisotropy electron momentum distribution not found. Although valence can be fitted an inverted parabola, free-electron model does explain shape values cutoffs. Based on a concept quasi-Brillouin zone boundary effects strong electron-lattice interaction examined.
