摘要: Abstract The photoluminescence (PL) properties and crystalline structure of undoped erbium ion (Er 3+ )-doped zirconia (ZrO 2 ) that were prepared by sol–gel methods examined. ZrO films exhibited a dopant concentration-dependent phase. As the Er ions’ concentration increases, amount monoclinic phases declines. However, proportion tetragonal phase is enhanced. This fact suggests ions replace Zr 4+ cause transition in host lattice . Photoluminescence bands observed exciting film at 300 eV with soft X-rays. Experimental results showed PL emission +3 -doped can be tuned controlling concentration. In particular, increasing concentration, blue are quenched whereas green red phenomenon explained as non-radiative energy transfer.
