摘要: Over a period of many months, Xenopus oocytes stockpile large quantities tRNA for use during the first few hours embryogenesis. To test idea that these tRNAs are transcribed from one set genes and another is used by somatic cells, we synthetic oligonucleotides to analyze sequence steadystate levels unspliced tyrosine precursors in laevis oocytes, embryos, cultured kidney cells. These analyses identify four kinds genes, two oocyte-type somatic-type, whose transcripts distinguishable their different 5' leader intervening sequences. The present very abundant gastrula but absent postembryonic somatic-type undetectable found later stage embryos major switch oocytetype occurs early embryogenesis, between midblastula transition onset neurulation, some also detectable tadpoles.
