摘要: Influenza vaccination is currently the principal means of reducing or counteracting influenza mortality and morbidity burden in community. Since early development monovalent killed-virus vaccine formulations 1940s, different strategies were followed by manufactures resulting a variety vaccines (e.g., inactivated whole-virus vaccines, live attenuated detergent solvent “split” subunit adjuvanted vaccines). Actually two main production processes, classical egg-based technology more recently cell-culture-based operations, can be distinguished. In addition routes immunization allow generation intramuscular-, intradermal-, intranasal-influenza vaccines.
