Malignant melanoma metastatic to the gastrointestinal tract

摘要: Five patients with symptomatic metastases of malignant melanoma to the gastrointestinal tract are presented. The clinical and pathological findings reviewed. It seems that more frequent than has previously been assumed. symptoms usually variable include vague abdominal pain or discomfort, bleeding, intestinal obstruction. Although prognosis is poor, surgical excision indicated in selected patients.
