摘要: Human hepatitis delta (δ) virus (HDV) is a form of defective virus, which infects humans only in the presence co-infecting B (HBV), HDV superinfection chronic HBV carrier often results severe and cirrhosis, whereas acute co-infection frequently associated with fulminant hepatitis1–3. consists 36-nm particle; contains an envelope surface antigen, nucleocapsid containing δ-antigen (HDAg) RNA genome 1.75 kilobases (kb) (ref. 4). Recently, genomic from serially passaged chimpanzees has been cloned sequenced study showed that single-stranded circular molecule properties similar to those viroid or virusoid5,6. However, it not known' whether serial passages had altered human HDV. Here we report cloning sequencing isolated directly patient δ-hepatitis. The sequence considerable divergence (11%) chimpanzee-adapted Five open reading frames (ORFs) more than 100 amino acids both anti-genomic sense were found. largest ORF antigenomic sense, can code for 214 acids, may correspond HDAg.
