摘要: Abstract The effect of prior cold working (PCW) on the creep resistance AISI alloy 314 was investigated at temperatures 900 and 950°C. Preliminary annealing studies indicated that any advantage deformations in excess 14% would be lost because recovery and/or recrystallization which occurs early stages these temperatures. Measurements 900°C minimum rates ·em showed PCW increased by ten times for stresses 30 MPa but improvement decreased with a reduction stress σ towards 0% material. Both sets data obeyed relationship ·e = σn n ≈ 5 2.5 respectively. Results 950°C gave higher factor 4 values about 3.7 materials respectively, produced little this temperature. It is proposed improved due to related dislocation distribution within subgrains. These dislocations are progressively removed longer-term tests lower applied all temperatures, hence explaining corresponding rates. Precipitation phase during appeared have no significant influence behaviour.
