摘要: Daunomycin was coupled to dextrans of various molecular sizes. The binding the dextran carriers augmented therapeutic efficacy antitumor agent in a murine lymphoma line (YAC). When treatment with drug or its conjugates given concomitantly tumor cells at separate sites, unbound able, optimally effective doses, prevent tumors 40% mice, whereas drug-dextran efficient 80% mice. advantage over free also manifested when 6 days after transplantation. However, further delay resulted decrease potency drug-dextran. Similar behavior observed increasing loads were transplanted (10(5)-10(8) cells) and administered immediately. most favorable effect obtained 10(7) cells, but against 10(8) neither nor bound one effective.
