摘要: Abstract Renewable generation and distributed resources are becoming increasingly relevant due to their various advantages intense regulatory support. Therefore, there is a need consider the effects of these new sources in transmission network. In addition, accurate assessment losses necessary order evaluate impact generation. this paper, we present single-objective optimization method that applied different case studies include an AC DC power flow efficiently. The proposed algorithm considers uncertainty wind demand, as well costs for investment, repair, maintenance, losses. This problem solved using Imperialist Competitive Algorithm (ICA), meta-heuristic has been recently shown promising results compared other well-established evolutionary methods such Genetic (GA). investigated on IEEE 24-bus 118-bus test systems. reported literature. Our confirm evaluation ACPF does modify optimal plan hence it important when performing Transmission Expansion Planning (TEP). implemented ICA displays more efficient performance than GA same study.
