摘要: Our aim was to study the effect of a mucosal protective agent, rebamipide, on colonic barrier and immune response in colitis-prone interleukin-10-deficient (IL-10−/−) C57BL/6 mice infected with Helicobacter hepaticus. After sacrifice, all mice, control, or previously H. hepaticus, treated rebamipide enema, histological examination samples performed, intestinal permeability studied Ussing chamber, mesenteric lymph node proliferation cytokine secretion were measured. Mice presented reinforcement distal epithelial barrier, an increase cells proliferation, IFNγ IL-12 secretion. These results indicate that IL-10−/− mild colitis, rectally administered reinforces has slight Th1 immuno-stimulatory cells. properties could be helpful management some inflammatory bowel diseases.
