摘要: t has been suggested that humans may suffer a high genomic deleterious mutation rate1,2. Here we test this hypothesis by applying variant of molecular approach3 to estimate the rate in hominids from level selective constraint DNA sequences. Under conservative assumptions, an average 4.2 amino-acid-altering mutations per diploid generation have occurred human lineage since separated chimpanzees. Of these mutations, at least 38% eliminated natural selection, indicating there more than 1.6 new genome generation. Thus, specific protein-coding sequences alone is close upper limit tolerable species such as low reproductive rate4, effects combined synergistically. Furthermore, hominid atypically low. A large number slightly therefore become fixed lineages.
