摘要: Abstract We have recently identified by cDNA cloning a set of genes that are rapidly activated in mouse 3T3 cells serum or purified growth factors. Here we report the (clone 268) derived from one these immediate early (zif/268) encodes protein with three tandem "zinc finger" sequences typical class eukaryotic transcription The mRNA zif/268 is present many organs and tissues especially abundant brain thymus tissue. 5' genomic flanking sequence has related to binding sites for known regulatory proteins, including four resemble core response elements (SREs) upstream c-fos actin genes. SRE-like could be responsible coordinate activation fos after stimulation cells.
