摘要: Environmental education authors have argued for cultivating a relationship with nature and the outdoors, urged parents to "unplug" their children from technology. In this perspective, technology is seen as curtailing ties environment its use needs be limited. paper, we consider idea that while may contribute children's disconnect natural world around them, it could also support being outdoors. Thus, explore techniques incorporating mobile into field-based environmental science curriculum compare two approaches education: traditional approach traditional-plus technological intervention approach. A mixed methods design was used evaluate learning outcomes record observations. Based on comparisons of pre- post-test scores common themes detected through reflexive journaling, results show facilitated an increase in student knowledge comprehension during weeklong residential program. Appropriate implementation can enable outdoor enhance existing practice, but there still need further research topic.
