摘要: Oral cancer is one of the most common cancers worldwide, and metastasis recognized as a major factor causing its low survival rate. The inhibition progress improvement rate for oral are critical research objectives. Leucaena leucocephala from mimosa branch genus native to Central South America has been used traditional remedy treating various disorders. Previous studies have demonstrated antioxidant, anti-inflammatory well anticancer properties L. plant materials. However, molecular mechanism underlying effect induced by remains unclear. In this study, we investigated extract (LLE) on SCC-9 SAS cells examined potential inhibitory mechanisms involved. results indicated that LLE attenuated migration invasion abilities both reducing activity protein expression matrix metalloproteinases-2 (MMP-2). Regarding mitogen-activated kinase (MAPK) pathways, phosphorylation ERK1/2 p38 exhibited significant in presence LLE. application ERK inhibitor confirmed signalling transduction pathways were involved cell metastasis. These data indicate could be potent therapeutic agent prevention treatment prominent source future.
